Former Illinois Gov. George Ryan has died at age 91.

Prosecutors in the Justice Department section that handles public corruption cases have been told the unit will be significantly reduced in size, and its cases will be transferred to U.S. attorney’s offices around the country, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Alyssa McGrath told The New York Times that Cuomo called her beautiful in Italian, referred to her and her female colleague as “mingle mamas,” asked why she wasn’t wearing a wedding ring and inquired about her divorce. “I put my head down waiting for him to start speaking, and he didn’t start speaking,” she told The Times. WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump tweeted Thursday that the White House is continuing to review the possibility of commuting the sentence of former Illinois Gov. Trump suggested more than a year ago that he was considering a commutation for the Democratic ex-governor. Trump tweeted Thursday that Blagojevich had served half of his 14-year sentence. The Republican president told reporters Wednesday night while returning to Washington that he was "very strongly" considering commuting the sentence because he thought Blagojevich had been treated "unbelievably unfairly." Trump said he's taking into consideration Blagojevich's wife and children and what was, in his view, mere braggadocio.
