Griffin, Jenkins and Robertson-Harris are among the team’s biggest investments in free agency, with contracts totaling $103.9 million ($59 million in guarantees). His 2020 season ended with a shoulder injury, but Robertson-Harris said that he’ll be cleared medically by early next month.

Jaguars’ moves: team adds 12 players, re-signs 2, releases 8

The team also re-signed tight end James O’Shaughnessy and kicker Aldrick Rosas and released eight reserves. The team also announced the release of cornerbacks Quenton Meeks, Rashaan Melvin and Josh Nurse, defensive tackles Dontavius Russell, Al Woods and Gabe Wright as well as punter Cameron Nizialek. The new league year began at 4 p.m. Wednesday marking the start of the period in which teams can sign players to contracts. The next important date on the calendar is April 29, the start of the NFL draft.

Spend, spend, spend on 2nd day of "legal tampering" in NFL

He started seven and played in nine games last season for Miami, throwing for 2,091 yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He will be replaced as Tua Tagovailoa's backup by Brissett, who will get a one-year, $5 million deal in Miami. The Bengals also reached agreement with Pittsburgh safety Mike Hilton on a four-year, $24 million contract, also according to a person with knowledge of the deal. Kelly signed a three-year, $21 million deal exactly a year ago and started all 16 games at right tackle.

Seahawks hold on to beat Washington, clinch playoff spot

Arizona knocks off undefeated Seattle with 37-34 OT victory
