The Jaguars wrapped up their offseason program on Thursday and now break for a brief respite before the grind of training camp begins next month. News4JAX posed some mailbag questions to fans on X Thursday morning and we’re answering some of those here.

Yes, Jacksonville remains buried under the weight of its 0-4 start, but it has shown signs of progress. The Jaguars have won two of their last three games, including Sunday’s 32-16 romp over the Patriots. They return home in Week 8 to host the Packers at EverBank Stadium on Sunday.

Tank Bigsby rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns and Parker Washington returned a punt 96 yards for a score in Jacksonville’s 32-16 comeback win over the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium.

The Jaguars are headed back from London with a much-needed win and a little bit of momentum.

Can the Jaguars kick off a long road back to contention on Sunday morning (9:30 a.m.) against the similarly struggling Patriots (1-5)? It’s not a stretch to say this Week 7 game is between the two teams battling for the No. 1 overall draft pick. But that was somewhat expected on the New England side. Not so much on Jacksonville's side.

Caleb Williams shredded Jacksonville’s defense for a career-high four touchdown passes and the Jaguars opened their London stretch with a 35-16 blowout loss.

The Jaguars put their losing streak to rest with their best performance of the season, edging the Colts 37-34 on Sunday at EverBank Stadium. If ever the Jaguars needed a win, this was the game to do it in.

Josh Allen ruthlessly carved up the Jaguars defense and the offensive issues showed no signs of slowing down in a 47-10 Buffalo blowout. No matter the postgame spin, neither Doug Pederson nor struggling franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence have answers for what’s crippling this team.

The Jaguars played well enough on defense, but Trevor Lawrence and Co. were stymied again in an embarrassing 18-13 loss to the Browns on Sunday at EverBank Stadium. Jacksonville is 0-2 and playing like it did during its freefall in the second half of a forgettable 2023 season where inconsistent offensive performances torpedoed an 8-3 start.

Not the start the Jaguars had in mind. It was an interesting game that the Jaguars should have won but that’s not how the cookie crumbled on Sunday against the Dolphins in a 20-17 loss. Here’s my Four Cents from the season opener.

A good start and a forgettable finish. Sound familiar? The Dolphins capped a wild comeback with a walk-off field goal for a 20-17 win over the Jaguars.

It was a start and a good one. The Jaguars saw what they needed to from the starters and got significant contributions from the backups and kicked off their preseason slate with a thorough performance against the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs on Saturday night at EverBank Stadium.

Tank Bigsby is going into his second season. As a rookie, there were some struggles and things didn’t go the way anyone hoped but those rookie struggles brought lessons that Bigsby will carry to help.

It was a familiar formula for the Jaguars — a sluggish start and a fantastic finish.

With only backups playing for both teams it was about what you would expect — a sloppy preseason game. With players on the roster bubble getting the majority of the playing time, a few guys were able to make a statement. Here are my Four Cents:

Two-time defending conference champion Alabama was predicted to win a third consecutive Southeastern Conference title in voting at this week’s SEC Media Days.

Bo Nix threw for 292 yards and a pair of touchdowns and ran for score to lead Auburn to a 38-23 win over No. 17 Arkansas, the Tigers' sixth straight in the series.

Jaquan Brisker broke up a last pass toward the end zone by Auburn’s Bo Nix as time expired and No. 10 Penn State held on to beat No. 22 Auburn 28-20.

“Bo (Nix) and Seth (Williams) have a special bond,” Auburn coach GusMalzahn said. “It was down to the end and that’s the way this series hasgone.”Auburn (3-2 Southeastern) rallied from a 28-27 deficit on its finaloffensive series, covering 80 yards in six plays. Nix finished 23 of 30 passing for 238 yards, with thebiggest plays reserved for Williams. Jerrion Ealyhad a 5-yard touchdown run to give Ole Miss a 28-27 lead with 5:43 left,setting up Auburns game-winning drive. Nix directed touchdown drives of 95, 79, 88, 80 and 80 yards and did nothave a turnover after coming off a loss to South Carolina with threeinterceptions.

Smith had eight catches including his score midway through the third quarter that put South Carolina ahead for good, 20-19. Auburn got the ball back once more with 2:15 left and drove to the South Carolina 13. South Carolina had not won back-to-back games since defeating Kentucky and then-No. Morris lost twice at South Carolina while he held the same job at Clemson, then was defeated in this one. South Carolina goes to LSU on Saturday night.
