I know I’m not alone in saying—we really need this water. The area is in a rain deficit, and any soaking we get will help a lot.

A system will move across the area on Tuesday, which will bring a chance for scattered showers to the area. Any rain would be beneficial as most of our area is in a drought.

November is likely going down in the record books as the driest on record at Jacksonville, Gainesville, and Craig Executive Airport. The next chance of rainfall is on Monday into Tuesday this week as we begin the final month of 2025.

We will be ahead of another system early next week, which will bring warmer temperatures to our area. Temperatures will soar back into the 70s Sunday through Tuesday with lows in the 50s and 60s.

Many of you are waking up to a Freeze Warning and some seriously frosty weather. This is the kind of cold that’ll have you digging deep in your closet for that heavy coat.
