JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As many Gator and Bulldog fans know, traffic during the weekend of the Georgia-Florida football game can be confusing and frustrating.
Many roads will be closed and streets will become congested. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said parking will fill up about five hours prior to kick-off.

"If you're driving through, be considerate of other people. Don't need any road rage or anything like that," said John Holton, a veteran fan staying in RV City. "Take your time, get here early and keep a cool head."

"On game day, you can't hardly move as the tailgaters start coming in and all the people who drove overnight," said Mike Hodges, who has been to the game six times.
There will be several streets blocked off downtown Thursday through Sunday, including Hogan, Water and Pearl streets.
There are some other options instead of driving: Take a taxi, the Skyway or the shuttle service. Shuttles will pick fans up at Florida State College at Jacksonville's downtown campus, the Prime Osborn Convention Center, the Jacksonville Landing and the Kings Avenue parking garage in San Marco.
Fans who don't want to drive downtown to jump on the shuttle can park at Little League Wingate Park in Jacksonville Beach or Philips Highway at Butler Boulevard. Parking at those locations is free. JTA shuttles at those locations will start running four hours before the game. The cost is $7.
Vehicle traffic isn't the only issue downtown. There will be thousands of people walking the streets, so drivers should use caution.
