FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – UPDATE 1:30 p.m.: All lanes are back open on Interstate 95 northbound. The Florida Highway Patrol says a 53-year-old woman from Port Orange died. She was heading northbound on I-95 behind a semi pulling a trailer. The report reads that the semi was slowing down because of traffic ahead, but the women didn’t and collided with the trailer. The semi driver from Miami was not injured.
The crash caused all northbound lanes of I-95 to shut down near Palm Coast for five hours.
