JACKSONVILLE, Fla – Nor'easter conditions continue to persist Tuesday, bringing with it perpetual gray skies and spotty showers. A coastal flood advisory and a small craft advisory has been issued along coastal St. Johns, Duval, Nassau, Camden and Glynn counties.
Tides are running 1½ to 2 above normal. This may, as seen Monday, push seawater all the way to the dunes at high tide. Therefore, minor coastal flooding is possible. Small crafts are also urged to stay in port Tuesday.

Winds will be gusty, especially along the immediate coastal areas. Expect winds 15-25 mph with gusts as high as 30 mph. Winds won't be as strong in metro Jacksonville but spotty showers and gray skies will be the rule for Tuesday.
Weather conditions will improve starting Wednesday with an increase in sunshine expected through the rest of the week. The weather isn't expected to be 'post card' pretty but a definite improvement is anticipated.
High temperatures will continue to run slightly above normal this week with highs in the low 80s and overnight lows in the low 60s.
The long range weather continues to fluctuate rather dramatically with some model runs showing a strong push of polar air while others indicate seasonable weather by the end of October. However, there does seem to be some consistency that a very strong cold front will usher in the coolest/coldest air of the season sometime between October 24th and October 30th.
Due to the wild swings in the models, it's a bit too early to give a first look at the Halloween forecast. Right now anything from ghoulish weather to pretty weather is possible. We'll continue to update as the day gets closer!
