The lovely, mild to warm weather ends from north to south as a cool front slips through Jacksonville. Cooler, cloudier and possible showers on Saturday as afternoon temperatures will range above 80° south of Jacksonville to the upper 60s along the Georgia Coast near Brunswick.

By Sunday, a storm system will be developing along the Gulf Coast and will rapidly swing up the east coast of the United States. Trailing to the south of the storm system will be a band of showers, possibly thunderstorms in Georgia. These storms will be mainly during the evening hours, after the Cleveland Browns and Jags play. Game time is 1 p.m. there could be a few brief showers/downpours during and just after the game.

MAJOR COLD FRONT

Will push through Sunday night into Monday, this will bring us a few morning showers as the sun comes up, then blustery conditions as cold air will surge across the area bringing down our temperatures. By Wednesday morning there will be freeze warnings for Georgia and maybe inland Florida. Tuesday’s high will be only around 55°. Whoa!

Happy Thanksgiving!
