Thanksgiving brings warm pies and warmer temps

Sunny and milder for a short time

.

Our cool pattern brought in the coolest air so far this season with a couple nights in the upper 30s but tonight won’t be as cold.

Clear skies inland with more clouds at the coast will result in a range of temps from mid 50s at the beach to upper 40s inland. Patchy frost will be possible over inland Georgia.

Thanksgiving will start in the upper 40s with cool and sunny weather for the Distance Classic Half Marathon. Temps will be in the low to mid 50s for the 7 am start.

The afternoon will be mild in the upper 60s to 70 with mostly sunny skies.

A cold front slips by Friday with little more than some clouds and a slight chance for sprinkles in the afternoon.

You will notice cloudier skies Sunday compared to Saturday as another dry front passes through late in the day.

The front reinforces the 60s we’ll have over the weekend through next week as a cool dry pattern stays fixed over us.
