Love is in the air on Valentine’s Day and the weather can set the mood for some people. Leave it to the weather as an icebreaker to get the conversation going.

In fact, many relationships run hot or cold like the weather and even settle into copacetic or tumultuous patterns.

On this Valentine’s Day, what weather would you swipe right for?

Some might say thunderstorms rank high on the list. They have energy, stand out tall, and have dynamic personalities. Storms have electric good looks but sometimes stay shy on the horizon. Don’t ever call these moments heat lightning which is incorrect, rather some players are hard-to-get; their distance keeps thunder silent despite a showcase of attractive sparks.

Here’s our secret little crush

Meteorologist Mark Collins is attracted to the fury of a churned sea. He fell in love with ocean storms at a young age because the rough waves would wash curious sea life ashore or bring in interesting flotsam from distant countries.

Meteorologist Richard Nunn says he loves when the weather is in the 70s and the humidity drops so low the doors don’t squeak when they open.

None of us want to go through another abusive relationship like Hurricane Ian or Irma and hopefully, those rocky times have passed.
