Commercial flights at Jacksonville International Airport stop Saturday night

Hurricane Irma affecting air travel

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville International Airport said commercial flights will stop at 7 p.m. Saturday because of Hurricane Irma.

Travelers are urged to contact their airline, not the airport, for updates on the most up-to-date information on flight status, cancellations and rebooking information. 

The Jacksonville International Airport said Silver Airways flights are canceled on Sunday and Monday, Allegiant flights are canceled Sunday, and Southwest flights are canceled on Sunday and Monday.

Sunday flight cancellations are expected for Air Canada and JetBlue flights, according to the airport.
