JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 32-year-old man was struck by a car and killed early Saturday on the Westside, according to Jacksonville police.
Police said Gregory Franks was walking south in the 2600 block of Blanding Boulevard at about 2 a.m. when he was hit by a car also traveling south.

Franks was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not release any other information, including whether charges will be filed.
