ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said a 77-year-old man from New York who is now living in Fruit Cove and has dementia was found safe Thursday evening in Elmira, N.Y.
Ronald Pariso was last seen in the 300 block of Blue Lake Road in the Julington Creek area Tuesday morning. Deputies said they've received information that Pariso was picked up by a Duval County car rental company and was believed to be driving to New York.

A Silver Alert for Pariso was issued from Florida to New York.
Pariso left in a car about 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to a rental company.
