JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A loose panel on the EverBank Center building downtown forced West Bay Street to be closed for about a half hour Thursday afternoon.
The building sits at 301 W. Bay St. between North Pearl and North Julia streets.

As crews worked to repair a silver panel that runs between the windows on the tower, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office closed the section of West Bay Street in front of the building as a precaution.
The road reopened about 1:15 p.m.
