Hot dog cart operator recognized for donations

James Bradley donated $9,700 in tips over the years

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A business owner in Flagler County known as "The Hot Dog Man" was recognized for donating tips he received from his hot dog cart to charities and organizations throughout the county.

Flagler County Sheriff James Manfre presented James Bradley and his companion, Beverly McGowan, with a Citizens Award.

Bradley has donated $9,700 in tips over the years to the Sheriff's Police Athletic League.  

"For the past 16 years, Mr. Bradley has generously made monetary donations to our P.A.L. organization and we will forever be grateful for his contributions," said Sheriff James L. Manfre.

The Flagler Sheriff's P.A.L. is a youth program designed to instill positive values and reduce juvenile crime.  

"I feel privileged to have helped the Police Athletic League since we started in October 1998. We are planning to focus on assisting the American Legion Vets from Post 115 in Palm Coast," said Bradley.
