JACKSONVILLE, Fla – Two people are recovering after being struck by lightning Thursday afternoon, sources tell News4Jax.
The first was at the Gerdau mill at 16770 Rebar Road in the Baldwin area.

The second one was at the Canterbury Apartments at 1591 Lane Avenue South. In that case, the victim was shocked through the phone.
Both victims were reported to be breathing, conscious and alert. The victim at the mill was taken to a hospital. The victim from Canterbury Apartments was not transported, sources said.
