Traffic stop leads to drug bust, comical mugshot

HOUSTON – A sheriff's office north of Houston released a comical mugshot of a suspect arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

Jacob Cunningham, 38, was arrested Monday in Trinity County. He was the passenger in a car that was pulled over for a traffic stop.

Police said Cunningham was in possession of narcotics when the vehicle was pulled over.

Sheriff Woody Wallace reported that one of the officials used a Taser on Cunningham during the arrest.

Once in custody, Cunningham posed for his mugshot with his tongue hanging out of his mouth.

Cunningham is being held in Trinity County on a $12,500 bond.
