MAYPORT, Fla. – The Navy is looking at bringing back into service some guided missile frigates that were decommissioned in recent years.

Mayport had a large contingent of those ships, and at least 12 were decommissioned through 2015. Some of those decommissioned ships have been sold to foreign countries.
