2 St. Johns County men arrested on multiple drug charges

Deputies: Both men arrested after search warrant served at Seminole Road home

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Two men were arrested on multiple drug charges after a search warrant was served Monday morning at a home on Seminole Road, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said.

Alfred Leroy Renn, 47, is charged with the manufacture of crack cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of a Schedule 2 narcotic, maintaining a drug dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kevin Scott Van Olphen, 47, is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a Schedule 2 narcotic and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives said they began an investigation of the Seminole Road home after receiving several complaints about alleged drug sales.

Early Monday morning, detectives and members of the Sheriff's Office SWAT team served a search warrant at the home and the two people inside, who deputies identified as Renn and Van Olphen, were taken into custody.

During the search, detectives said they found a large amount of drug paraphernalia, crack cocaine, powder cocaine and morphine pills. 

Deputies said both men were booked into the St. Johns County jail -- Renn on $20,500 bond and Van Olphen on $15,500 bond.
