JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A run will take place on Saturday to honor a 10-year-old Jacksonville boy who died more than a year ago.

Ryan Perry got caught in a rope at a ropes course at The Bolles School.  Since then, his family has been working to raise enough money to help build a Family Life Center in Ryan's name at their church: Ortega United Methodist.

You can participate in a 5K or 1-mile fun run.  It's $25 for the 5K and $10 for the fun run.

The shorter run begins at 8 a.m., but the 5K starts at 8:30.
