JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In the heart of Rethreaded lies a powerful vision: to never turn away any survivor of human trafficking who seeks to embark on a new journey in life. Their belief resonates deeply in the notion that offering secure, empowering employment is paramount in aiding survivors to rebuild their lives. Through meaningful work, Rethreaded aims to instill confidence, resilience, and stability in those who have endured the horrors of trafficking.

From humble beginnings, Rethreaded took its first steps toward this mission by hiring its inaugural full-time employee in collaboration with the City Rescue Mission of Jacksonville. Since then, this endeavor has blossomed into a thriving social enterprise, providing not just jobs, but also opportunities for career advancement and a nurturing community for survivors within the Jacksonville area.
