The rules, created with help from world players' union FIFPro, are expected to be approved by the FIFA Council next month and would take effect on Jan. 1. Although FIFA’s judicial bodies have not been presented with contract disputes over maternity rights, Garcia targeted getting ahead of potential problems in the fast-growing women’s game. She called the criticism a double standard for female and male athletes. "And when I look at sipping a cup of tea, I'm a little taken aback" by the criticism. Turner congratulated Morgan and the USWNT on their win in an Instagram Story on Friday. "Unfortunately, the UK women's football team lost at the World Cup, and of course, I'm incredibly sad," Turner said.

Stuart Franklin/Getty Images(CNN) - The U.S. Women's National Soccer team has caused quite the stir with its celebrations at the Women's World Cup, and Alex Morgan became the latest to milk a goal in Lyon on Tuesday. Approximately 100 million cups of tea are drunk by the British each day-- almost 36 billion per year -- according to the UK Tea and Infusions Association. Morgan's celebration was lapped up by some, notably Hillary Clinton: "Congrats to the #USWNT for earning that tea," the 2016 presidential candidate tweeted. Morgan's celebration proved not to be everyone's cup of tea. As the World Cup reaches boiling point, there is still plenty more drama brewing.
