UNF will establish capacity limits for each classroom, promising to reduce class sizes or move to larger on-campus venues. Only 13% of UNF classes have 50 or more students with none at 200 students or more. According to NJ.com, Georgetown University students voted to raise their own tuition so 272 descendants of slaves could be paid reparations. Both Rutgers and Princeton University have acknowledged their past ties to slavery but have not issued any reparations.

Founded in 1966, Santa Fe College is part of the Florida College System and a charter member of the prestigious League for Innovation in the Community College. SF also produces the Santa Fe College Spring Arts Festival annually, the largest cultural arts event in Alachua County.
