Delta bans 460 anti-maskers from flying
Delta Airlines has banned more than 460 people from flying for not following its mask policy, according to CNN. In a new memo to employees, Deltaโs CEO said 460 people are on its โno-flyโ list for refusing to comply with the companyโs mask requirement. On May 4, Delta began requiring passengers to wear masks on flights. The airline says the policy is to protect the health and safety of passengers and crew members. All major airlines now mandate that passengers wear masks in the absence of any new regulations from the federal government.
Delta expanding flight options at Brunswick airport
BRUNSWICK, Ga. - Delta Airlines is making it easier to get to Brunswick. The airline announced it is expanding services to the Brunswick Golden Isles Airport to and from Atlanta beginning May 2020. Passengers boarding in Atlanta bound for Brunswick can choose from flights leaving at 10:25 a.m., 1:40 p.m., 4:20 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. The larger aircraft will be available for the flight departing Atlanta at 10:25 a.m., arriving in Brunswick at 11:42 a.m., and the subsequent return flight leaving Brunswick at 12:20 p.m., arriving in Atlanta at 1:39 p.m. The executive director of the Brunswick Golden Isles Airport said the airport serves 80,000 passengers every year the new flight will allow for more growth opportunity.

Delta: Woman without ticket boards flight in Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla. - Delta Airlines says a woman was able to board one of its planes at a Florida airport without a ticket and was removed, delaying the flight. Delta says its working with law enforcement and with the Transportation Security Administration on their investigation. The Orlando Sentinel reports that Delta employees asked for her ticket because she was in someone elses seat. Orlando police Lt. Wanda Miglio says the woman said she threw her ticket away and didnt have identification. A TSA official told the newspaper that the woman went through security.
Delta adds nonstop flight from Raleigh to Jacksonville
Delta Airlines via CNNJACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Delta has added a daily nonstop service from Raleigh-Durham to Jacksonville, which will begin Sep. 7, 2019.The service will be operated by Delta Connection carriers on 69-seat and 76-seat regional jets, which both feature an all-aisle-and-window seating configuration. Every seat has access to Wi-Fi and streaming in-flight entertainment via Delta Studio. Jacksonville is the sixth Florida city with Delta service from RDU, along with Fort Lauderdale, Tampa and Orlando and seasonal winter flights to Miami and Fort Myers.
