A Flood Warning has been issued for Duval and Nassau counties until 3:45 p.m. as more rain moves in from the Atlantic Ocean adding to the already saturated soil.

As Tropical Storm Elsa swept across North Florida on Wednesday, emergency management officials in Baker County kept a close eye on rising water levels in Cedar Creek, which feeds into the St. Marys River.

Tonight will be muggy, sinking down into the low 70s under mostly cloudy skies. Expect patchy fog to form after 2 a.m. and will be persistent in some areas through 10 a.m.Wednesday will be warm and mostly cloudy, topping out in the mid 80s. We have a chance for isolated showers and storms to fire up during the afternoon/early evening hours. Thursday we wake up in the low 70s with patchy fog and warm up into the mid 80s with a few isolated afternoon showers. We wake up in the low 70s and only see isolated chances for showers as we top out in the mid to upper 80s.
