Man dies from gunshot after crashing on I-95
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. At 5:23 p.m. on Sunday, Jacksonville Police responded to a crash on Northbound lanes of I-95, just before the exit to Dunn Ave. The Jacksonville Sheriffs Office says, deputies found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound inside the vehicle. Multiple sources told News4Jax, the man was shot in the stomach. The wounded man was transported to a local hospital where he later died. JSO detectives say it appears the victim was shot at another location in the area before he crashed.

JSO: One woman killed and one man injured in San Pablo stabbing
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. One woman was killed and one man was injured after being stabbed inside an apartment on Saturday. At 5:07 p.m., Jacksonville Police responded to the 3700 block of San Pablo Road South after neighbors reported that a woman was screaming for help. Once officers found the apartment, they forced their way inside and found the woman and a man suffering from stab wounds. If anyone has any information, they are asked to call JSO at (904) 630-0500, or call CrimeStoppers to remain anonymous. Witness called 911 when she heard the woman screaming, but did not witness the stabbings.

Police arrive to shooting scene to find car riddled with bullet holes, driver still inside
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. A shooting victim might survive after he was targeted in what looks to be a drive-by shooting. Jacksonville Police said that they arrived the shooting at the to the intersection of Cassat and Lennox Avenue around 10 Wednesday night. When authorities arrived, they found a car idling in the middle of the intersection. Officers noted in a report, the car was riddled with bullet holes and that the adult male driver was shot.The driver was rushed to the hospital. Investigators said preliminary information shows that a person in another car shot up the car and the victim and fled.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - According to Jacksonville Police, a woman drove herself to the hospital after being shot in her leg on Evergreen Avenue, early Sunday morning. That's when they approached the 1700 block of Evergreen Avenue, where they found a crime scene, but no victims or suspects. A short time later, a 27-year-old woman arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to her leg and reported being shot in the 1700 block of Evergreen Avenue. JSO says potential witnesses at the scene are not cooperating with authorities, and no suspect information is available at this time.

Woman shot on Edgewood Ave., according to JSO
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville Police found a woman shot on Edgewood Avenue North, early Sunday morning. JSO says officers were dispatched to a reported shooting at the 1000 block of Edgewood Avenue North at 1:45 a.m.That's where officers found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her leg. She was treated at the scene by Jacksonville Fire Rescue and transported to a local hospital. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit are investigating the incident, but according to JSO, an initial investigation reveals this case may be related to a double shooting on the 4600 block of Portsmouth Avenue, early Friday morning.
