Opening at The Peak on Oct. 26, Monopoly Dreams is said to be the world's first fully immersive attraction inspired by the 84-year-old board game. "The Peak is the most valuable piece of land in the Hong Kong version of Monopoly ... it was why we chose this location to start with," Macci Li, public relations representative for Monopoly Dreams, tells CNN Travel. The new 20,000 square-feet attraction is a collaboration between Hasbro -- Monopoly's owner -- and Monopoly Dreams, a company established to design and create the new Hong Kong attraction. A new version of Monopoly will see women earn more money than men. Monopoly, each time female players pass "go," they will collect $240, while men will get the standard $200. Create the first game where women earn more than men, according to Hasbro. It's "a fun new take on the game that creates a world where women have an advantage often enjoyed by men," the company said in a statement, according to CNN. "But don't worry, if men play their cards right, they can make more money too."

At least that's the message behind a parody of Monopoly that surfaced this week after a Twitter thread on the game spread widely. "Get ready for laughs as the twists and turns of life put a damper on working toward a shared, utopian society," the description for Monopoly Socialism reads. While the board game was available online at Target as of Thursday afternoon, it now appears to have been removed from Target's website. Monopoly was originally invented to criticize capitalismA Monopoly parody that makes fun of socialism might not seem all that unexpected. In the game, players circled the board buying up railroads, collecting money and paying rent.
