Captain Sandy Yawn and Leah Rae Yawn, stars of Bravo's "Below Deck Mediterranean," are making waves in Jacksonville with their latest ventures. The couple, who tied the knot in May 20245, have become prominent figures in North Florida's business and philanthropic scenes. Leah Rae Yawn, a seasoned aesthetician with three decades of experience, recently opened Skin by Leah in Ponte Vedra Beach. In recognition of American Heart Association's Go Red campaign, the Yawns are using their platform to raise awareness about women's heart health. Captain Sandy, who experienced a heart attack several years ago, emphasizes the importance of recognizing less common symptoms. To support the cause, Skin by Leah is donating 10% of this month's profits to the local chapter of the American Heart Association.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Captain Sandy Yawn from Bravo’s “Below Deck Mediterranean” is converting Historic Fire Station No. 4 on Adams Street into a new downtown Jacksonville restaurant. The name refers to the planned nautical theme for the restaurant at 618 Adams St.“I bought it for the location. I wasn’t thinking restaurant,” Yawn said. But now she’s planning a “really cool, vibe restaurant” with an edgy feel for younger crowd.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An old firehouse in downtown Jacksonville will soon become Maritime 618 restaurant and rooftop bar. She routinely drops by to visit family, including her sister, Michelle Dunham, the executive director of the Jacksonville School of Autism. “The Jacksonville School for Autism is the reason I’m here and my sister,” Yawn said. “She can invest her money anywhere and she has specifically chosen to invest in Jacksonville,” Dunham told News4Jax. “I would love to see Jacksonville become a super yacht or just a maritime hub and a destination place for these yachts to come into,” she said.
