Channel 4 is looking for a few good elves to help make a child’s Christmas merry and bright — and you can join in during our annual Channel 4 Toy Drive on Thursday, Dec. 4!

Children and their families packed the Prime Osborn Center on Saturday for the annual Children’s Christmas Party of Jacksonville toy giveaway.

Florida Blue hosted its annual toy drive on December 10 at the Florida Blue Center in River City Marketplace.

The Channel 4 Toy Drive is happening today, Dec. 5, at WJXT Studios, 4 Broadcast Place, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.!

On Thursday, Dec. 5, Channel 4 will begin collecting new and unwrapped toys from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at WJXT Studios located at 4 Broadcast Place.

Community members donated toys ranging from bicycles, to dolls and footballs, to stuffed animals and more!

Many Duval County residents with big hearts made a small gesture to impact the lives of local children by donating Christmas gifts to the 12th annual Channel 4 Toy Drive on Thursday.

Santa and his Elves will distribute the toys and gifts to families attending the Holiday Toy Distribution event.

Thanks to News4JAX viewers, 1,235 toys had been collected as of Thursday morning as part of Channel 4′s Positively JAX Toy Drive.

Channel 4′s Positively JAX Toy Drive kicked off Wednesday.

Lucinda Jones purchased bicycles and dropped them off around 9 a.m. Wednesday. She said she loves to give back.

The event will take place Saturday, Dec. 4, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome, but especially those with Jeeps. The event creator said nearly 100 Jeeps arrived last year.

Thousands of Jacksonville families will have toys just in time for the holidays thanks to the public's generosity. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Thousands of Jacksonville children will wake up on Christmas morning with brand new toys thanks to your generosity. If you’ll recall, News4Jax held a toy drive at Channel 4 earlier this month to collect donations for Toys for Tots and our viewers generously donated nearly 1,400 toys. Those toys and thousands of others were given to local families Friday just in time for the holidays. Justin Cabrera, the Toys for Tots coordinator in Jacksonville, said 7,200 children received toys last year, and that number more than doubled this year.

Viewers dropped off new and unwrapped toys that will go to children across the River City. So we’re blessed to be a blessing.”One of the first vehicles into the parking lot Thursday morning was a truck from Maxwell House -- filled with toys! “We have been collecting the toys for the kids since the beginning of the summer,” Archie Harris, Line Coordinator at Maxwell House Coffee Co, said. Like I said we have a good working staff over the Maxwell House.

Channel 4 is partnering with ACE Hardware and Toys for Toys to collect toys for children, and you can help. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at participating ACE Hardware locations in Northeast Florida from now through Dec. 8. Donated toys can also be dropped off at Channel 4 at 4 Broadcast Place. And we’re hosting a toy drive at Channel 4 on Dec. 10, so if you stop by that day, we’ll make sure your donated toys get delivered. That toy drive will run from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.It’s worth mentioning that the drop-off process will be a little different this year.
