JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two men were injured in a crash early Saturday morning at the intersection of Normandy Boulevard and Le Brun Drive on the City's Westside, the Florida Highway patrol said.
A man driving a Nissan Altima was trying to turn left onto Normandy Boulevard from Le Brun Drive when he crashed into 29-year-old Pedro Lopez driving west on Normandy Blvd., officials said.

Lopez was seriously injured in the crash and taken to UF Health Jacksonville, officials said.
The driver of the Altima was critically injured and was also taken to UF Health Jacksonville, officials said.
The identity of the driver is being withheld until notification of next of kin.
