Looking for a new way to get quick updates from your favorite local news team? Just ask your home assistant device or smart speaker, like the Amazon Echo and Google Home.

If you have an Amazon device, log into your Amazon Alexa app and search 'WJXT' under Alexa skills. Just add both WJXT skills to the top of your skills list and then it's as simple as saying, "Alexa, tell me the news."

It's just as easy with Google. Go on the Google Home app, select 'settings,' 'more settings' and then 'services.' You'll find WJXT under the local news tab. Rank us as your top news service and say, "Google, tell me the news."
