Fletcher Middle School athlete helps lead charge to make flag football recognized sport
Quarterback Gracianna Peck-Hedley will continue her flag football career in high school, but before she graduates from middle school she wants to give every middle school student athlete the ability to play the sport she loves.
250 students, volunteers help clean up Guana Beach
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. โ More than 257 volunteers, mostly students, helped clean up GTMNERR (Guana) Beaches in South Ponte Vedra Beach on Sunday. Some of the schools represented were Ponte Vedra High School, Nease High School, Greenwood High School, Landrum Middle School, Fletcher Middle School, Palm Valley Academy, Ocean Palms Elementary, as well as Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Car catches fire in Neptune Beach
NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. - The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to car fire on 3rd Street North and Seagate Avenue near Fletcher Middle School in Neptune Beach early Saturday morning. Day of rainy weather brings heavy flooding to the beaches
JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. - Rounds of heavy rain throughout Monday flooded streets along Jacksonville Beach. Photos shared by a News4Jax viewer showed some of the high flooding along 3rd Street near Fletcher Middle School. There was also severe flooding nearby in Neptune Beach, where the Police Department placed barricades along First Street.
