Monster trucks return to Jacksonville as Monster Jam takes place this weekend

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Monster trucks are back in Jacksonville this weekend as Monster Jam takes place at TIAA Bank Field. Bridgette Weiss took her son, Logan, to Monster Jam to see his favorite monster truck drivers in action. “He’s a big monster truck fan, and the police cars!”Before the big event, Logan got to meet his favorite driver in a socially-distanced way. AdBefore the racing through mud and monster truck driving started Saturday night, kids and adults admired the monster trucks in Lot J to get excited for a night of monster trucks. On Sunday, the gates will open at noon and the show will start at 1 p.m.

Monster Jam is back in Jacksonville this weekend!

The action-packed, fun-filled experience of Monster Jam is roaring back into the River City for a high-octane weekend at TIAA Bank Field on March 6-7. Seating capacity will be reduced at TIAA Bank Field and social distancing measures will be in place. “Monster Jam is enthusiastic that fans are eager to attend a live event with family and friends and feel confident about their safety and well-being, as shown in multiple surveys. In order to meet and exceed those expectations, Monster Jam has implemented enhanced health measures to help ensure the highest standards of wellness when it comes to today’s live experience,” a release said. Monster Jam roars back into Jacksonville for all-new arena show

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Monster Jam roars back into the River City this weekend. The Monster Jam Triple Threat Series will be at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday and Sunday. About 140,000 pounds of dirt was trucked in and dumped on the arena floor. It takes the crew about six to seven hours to transform the arena for the big weekend. Thousands of fans are expected to pack the arena for the event, which is billed as being a totally different experience than the Monster Jam event in March.

Events to alter downtown traffic patterns Saturday

Signage will be posted in the downtown area to direct event traffic to parking lot locations. Audible Traffic MessagesAudio Traffic Jacksonville will broadcast 'real time' traffic announcements during the height of Monster Jam this Saturday. The app is available in app stores for Android and iOS under 'Audio Traffic - Jacksonville'. Monster Jam parking and Party in the Pit passes are also available for purchase at the Arena box office. Fans attending Monster Jam are asked to exit on either Forsyth Street, Union Street or Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
