Lotions that are cream-based and heavy are the opaque options, and products that are see-through are a little lighter on your skin. It might seem a little strange at first, but using organic and natural ingredients like milk and honey can make a luxurious face mask -- and if your hair is damaged by the sun or chlorine from a pool, ketchup can take care of that right away. Obviously, nothing compares to a day trip to a spa, getting waited on hand and foot, but with a little imagination (and some at-home ingredients), you can turn your home into the spa of your dreams, even in quarantine.

What do olive oil, corn meal and raw sugar have in common? No, they’re not the first three ingredients to an amazing baking recipe. They are all things that can help repair your dry hands, especially if you’ve been washing them a lot more than usual, considering the coronavirus pandemic. Jordan says that using normal lotion will give you some relief, but there are many treatments you can do on your hands (or any dry skin on your body) with items that you probably have at home right now. Jordan recommends investing in a pair of thinning shears. The thinning shears are more forgiving and do a better job at blending the edges, as opposed to a regular pair of shears. Anyone who has gone to the barber knows that they use different clippers to measure how much hair comes off. Most people run into trouble while cutting their hair at home because they start with too short of a guard, Jordan said. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. As always, practice makes perfect to nail a quarantine haircut at home, so don’t beat yourself up too badly if it looks like you cut your hair with a weed whacker as opposed to an electric razor.
