These are the tips and tricks you need to properly groom your eyebrows

One of the latest trends in fashion is heavily grooming your eyebrows, and there’s a lot to know and learn. You don’t want to end up over- or under-tweezing your brows. He’s even got tips if you want to add a little bit to your brow, like the right product to use and how to really draw on a great arch. Make sure you check out the full video, above, to get all the inside information -- and make sure you check out the StyleWise YouTube page so you never miss a single episode. Oh, and don’t forget to subscribe!

How you can work camo into your everyday wardrobe

Camo isn’t a print that most of us have in our everyday wardrobes (unless you were in the military or love hunting), but according to StyleWise style editor Jon Jordan, this is a print that anyone can wear and make stylish. Especially when it comes to jackets, you can go for something comfortable and casual, or even get a nicely fitted blazer with a camo print to make a real fashion statement. These jackets are great because they go with almost any color, so have some fun when it comes to an undershirt. Jordan also suggests pairing a camo jacket with a scarf that has a print. If you liked this StyleWise video, make sure you check out more -- and subscribe, so you never miss Jordan’s style advice.

How to figure out what types of skin care products are right for you

That’s why StyleWise style editor Jon Jordan is here to help you figure out what’s best for your face. You’ll often see skincare products that are either opaque or clear. Lotions that are cream-based and heavy are the opaque options, and products that are see-through are a little lighter on your skin. Jordan said that, depending on your preferences, one option is better than the other when it comes to your skin. The same can be applied to a lot of other beauty products, such as shampoo, conditioner and even facial mists.

How you can make wearing a mask fashionable and fun

Wearing a mask out in public to help stop the spread of COVID-19 is just another sign of the times these days, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with it. StyleWise style editor Jon Jordan thinks this is a perfect time to up your fashion game and get creative when it comes to wearing a face covering, and most importantly, to make it easy when making your own face mask. Jordan suggest glamming up plain old black or white masks with something a little bit more exciting. As for a black mask, try embellishing it with a few rhinestones or jewels. Don’t go overboard with them, but a few could really make a black mask pop in the light.

Which eyelashes are right for you? With all the latest options, style editor helps you pick the best pair

Putting on fake eyelashes might be foreign territory for you, but don’t lash out too quickly -- we’ve got you covered on the best tips and trades to applying a fake eyelash for any fun night out on the town. There are different ways to extend your eyelashes to maximum volume, but StyleWise style editor Jon Jordan suggests going with the good old fashioned fake eyelash. Some people don’t like the glue that goes on the eyelid, so they might opt out for a lash extension put on by a professional, but if you’re cool with applying the glue yourself, fake eyelashes can be fun and effective at upgrading your look. A classic fake eyelash will surely get the job done, but there has been some innovation in the fake eyelash world, and there are a lot of great products out there that let you have more control over how much of the fake eyelash goes on your face. To learn about that, and so much more, watch the latest StyleWise video above, and make sure you subscribe to StyleWise so you never miss a video.

Beardology 101: Best beard grooming for your face shape

This might be a news flash to all the men out in the world, but there are actual ways that you’re supposed to be shaving your beard, based from the shape of your face. Not only do you want to make sure you’re shaving high enough on your neck to create a beard line, but you’ll also need to pay attention as to where you should make the line on your cheeks. According to Jordan, the line placements depends on the shape of your face, so it can get complicated if you’re just shaving and not taking these factors into consideration. There are so many dos and don’ts when it comes to shaving, and luckily, Jordan has a solution for all of your grooming needs. You can watch the full video of Style Wise above, and make sure you like and subscribe so you never miss a single Style Wise episode with Jon Jordan.

Did you know you can give yourself a full spa treatment, with ingredients found in your own home?

The spa might be closed, but that doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself while quarantining, right? Believe it or not, there are tons of remedies for facial and hair treatments -- that you can do with ingredients that you probably already have deep in your cupboard or refrigerator. StyleWise style editor Jon Jordan had his friend Katrina show him just how easy it is to create a supple face mask and color correctors for hair with pantry item staples, such as milk, honey, and yes, even ketchup. It might seem a little strange at first, but using organic and natural ingredients like milk and honey can make a luxurious face mask -- and if your hair is damaged by the sun or chlorine from a pool, ketchup can take care of that right away. Obviously, nothing compares to a day trip to a spa, getting waited on hand and foot, but with a little imagination (and some at-home ingredients), you can turn your home into the spa of your dreams, even in quarantine.

Is your skin super dry from all the hand-washing? These pantry items can help

What do olive oil, corn meal and raw sugar have in common? No, they’re not the first three ingredients to an amazing baking recipe. They are all things that can help repair your dry hands, especially if you’ve been washing them a lot more than usual, considering the coronavirus pandemic. Jordan says that using normal lotion will give you some relief, but there are many treatments you can do on your hands (or any dry skin on your body) with items that you probably have at home right now. You can watch the latest episode of StyleWise above -- and make sure you subscribe to see new StyleWise videos regularly.

Everything you need to know before cutting your hair at home

But before you whip out the first set of scissors you see sitting around in the junk drawer, StyleWise style editor Jon Jordan has some helpful tips on what you need to know about giving yourself an at-home haircut. 1 Jordan recommends is having the proper scissors (or shears, if you’re fancy) to get the job done. Jordan recommends investing in a pair of thinning shears. The thinning shears are more forgiving and do a better job at blending the edges, as opposed to a regular pair of shears. You can check out the full StyleWise video, above, for some more advice.

Want the perfect 'quarantine haircut’? Make sure you’re choosing the correct clippers

If you’ve never given yourself (or a someone else) a quick haircut, you’ll soon realize why cosmetology school exists. Anyone who has gone to the barber knows that they use different clippers to measure how much hair comes off. Most people run into trouble while cutting their hair at home because they start with too short of a guard, Jordan said. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. As always, practice makes perfect to nail a quarantine haircut at home, so don’t beat yourself up too badly if it looks like you cut your hair with a weed whacker as opposed to an electric razor.
