A missing 7-year-old boy was found safe, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced they found an 11-year-old boy safe after he had been missing for nearly 10 hours.

Forty years ago -- July 27, 1981 -- 6-year-old Adam Walsh was abducted from a South Florida shopping mall. His severed head was found two weeks later.

Police in Clay County found a 13-year-old who had been missing for several hours overnight Friday.

The search for a 13-year-old girl last seen early Sunday morning in her Durbin Crossing neighborhood ended 16 hours later when searchers found a body believed to be the missing teenager.

A missing 5-year-old boy was found dead in a pond on Sunday, about two hours after he was reported missing, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 12-year-old Jaylen Rosiah Jordan Myles has been found safe and sound. The boy had been missing since noon on Sunday. CCSO told News4Jax no suspicious circumstances were involved. The sheriff’s office tweeted they are thankful for everyone’s assistance.

HASTINGS, Fla. – A 14-year-old returned home safely Thursday morning and was reunited with her family after she was reported missing Tuesday afternoon, the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said. The girl’s mother said she began to worry when her daughter didn’t come home after she was dropped off from the school bus. The family had offered a $2,000 reward for information on her whereabouts. GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office issued a Missing Juvenile Alert asking for the community’s help finding a 12-year-old who was last seen on the 1100 block of Warner Road in the Green Cove Springs area around 5 p.m. Tuesday. Just after 9 p.m. Tuesday CCSO tweeted that the girl had been located.

CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. – The Camden County Sheriff’s Office issued a BOLO, Be On the Lookout, for a missing 12-year-old boy Saturday and later confirmed he had been found and safely returned to his family. The Camden County Sheriff’s Office posted the boy’s photo to Facebook along with an update as soon as he was found.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police were asking for the public for help finding an 8-year-old girl last seen Friday afternoon walking to her neighborhood library. Police were told Alayjah Bridges was last seen around 4 p.m. Friday when she left to walk to the Dallas James Graham Library on Myrtle Avenue North, across from Stanton College Preparatory School. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement also issued a missing child alert Saturday night. Bridges’ grandmother posted on Facebook at around 10:30 Saturday night “she’s found.” JSO later confirmed Alayjah was found safe. Then she told her friend’s mother it was OK for her to spend the night.”Alayjah’s other grandmother described how she felt to have the girl home safe.
