Officials concluded that Skalski committed targeting by leading with the crown of his helmet when he hit Fields in the ribs. After that touchdown, Fields was 12 of 13 for 173 yards and three touchdowns without an interception. He entered the Sugar Bowl with 39 tackles, including 3 1/2 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery in eight games.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. The Jaguars are slowly signing their draft picks. Defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton, a third-round selection in last Aprils draft, signed his rookie contract with the team on Monday. Hamilton should be in line for playing time as a rookie. With Hamilton under contract, the Jaguars have signed four of their 12 players from this years draft class. CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – A Middleburg man has pleaded no contest in the 2017 beating of a black man in Charlottesville, Virginia. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Davis is a member of the League of the South, a white nationalist neo-Confederate organization based out of Alabama. Clay County deputies pulled Davis over last year on Buggy Whip Trail near his Middleburg home and arrested him. Harris, 20, was later accused of injuring a white nationalist the same day that he was beaten. He turned himself in on a charge of unlawful wounding and was released on bond, the Charlottesville Police Department said.

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – A Middleburg man is in the Clay County Jail awaiting transfer to Charlottesville, Virginia, to face a charge in the August beating of a black man. Last week, Clay County deputies said they pulled over Davis, who was driving a Comcast vehicle, on Buggy Whip Trail near his Middleburg home and arrested him. Davis' tenant said that, although the violence that played out in Charlottesville was tragic, "We're allowed to protest. He turned himself in on a charge of unlawful wounding and was released on bond, the Charlottesville Police Department said. If convicted of the malicious wounding charge, Davis could spend up to 20 years in a Virginia prison.
