JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 12-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy that were subject of a search on Sunday have been found safe, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said. The girl was reported missing in Lexington, North Carolina, on Friday. Davidson County Sheriff’s Office investigators say they are not sure of her connection to Jacksonville, but when she was seen Saturday evening with a Jacksonville teenager on Saturday evening, local police joined the search. When JSO announced the juveniles were found, they did not say where or the circumstances. The front desk woman did not say what the motive for that was.

VMI said the statue will be relocated to a nearby Civil War museum at a battlefield where dozens of VMI cadets were killed or wounded. But he said it would not remove the statue of Jackson, who owned enslaved people, or rethink the names of buildings honoring Confederate leaders. In 2015, VMI did away with requiring freshmen to salute the statue each time they passed it, Wyatt said.

After the clinic received calls reporting adverse reactions from at least 16 patients, McLaughlin's wife, Fairshinda McLaughlin, began prescribing short-term antibiotics to treat the reactions, the order said. Paul McLaughlin was fined $5,000 and must reimburse the board $1,793.75, the order said. KDPH also said that the clinic's operator and those who handled and administered the vaccines were all unlicensed medical professionals. According to the order, Paul McLaughlin denied that he had delegated his medical responsibilities or reacted inappropriately to the vaccination reactions.
