JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One person was killed in a crash Saturday evening on San Jose Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Around 11:45 p.m., police, along with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, responded to a single-vehicle crash on San Jose Boulevard near Julington Creek Road. When they arrived at the crash site, according to police, they determined the victim was dead. The road conditions were wet, and the vehicle left the roadway striking a concrete pole and a tree, according to JSO. Speed factors will be determined in the investigation, police said.
