Nights of Lights prepares to return to nation’s oldest city in wake of Nicole
Just days before St. Augustine was ready to turn on 3 million lights for the annual Nights of Lights illumination, Tropical Storm Nicole hit and caused flooding, road closures and temporarily took out power to parts of the downtown area.
Bold Bean offering free coffee for voters on Nov. 3
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Farah & Farah has partnered with Bold Bean for Vote Boldly, a campaign created to increase and encourage voter engagement in Jacksonville and key regions throughout Florida. On Nov. 3, Bold Bean is handing out free cups of coffee -- paid for by Farah & Farah -- at all Bold Bean locations. All customers have to do is show their “I Voted” sticker or proof that they voted by mail (a photo or verbal commitment is sufficient) to receive a free cup of their choice. Fair Food Fest coming to Jacksonville in November
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It’s not fall without yummy fair food! In light of the of the cancelled Greater Jacksonville Fair, a Fair Food Fest is scheduled for Nov. 14 - 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds. Admission to the Fair Food Fest is $10, which includes parking and entry for all passengers in the vehicle.
