As the coronavirus resurgence, driven by the delta variant, continues to rage throughout Northeast Florida, homeless shelters are responding by returning to 2020 protocols to protect staff and clients.

121 Financial, Jacksonville’s hometown credit union, is proud to partner with Sulzbacher to host a Back-to-School supply drive to support the children and families that Sulzbacher serves. Between today and July 29, 121 Financial invites the community to donate complete Back-to-School backpack packages or individual supply items at any 121 Financial branch location to help families experiencing homelessness and poverty in Jacksonville as they prepare for the 2021-2022 school year.
Credit union donates toys, gift cards to Sulzbacher
121 Financial Credit Union on Monday donated a U-Haul full of toys and other gifts to Sulzbacher. 121 Financial Credit Union donated a U-Haul full of toys, clothing, hygiene products and other gifts to Sulzbacher just in time for the holidays. The credit union also donated $3,000 worth of gift cards. “It was an important partnership because everyone has had a difficult year this year,” said 121 Financial Credit Union President and CEO David Marovich. So for many of them, they don’t have the money to buy Christmas gifts this year.
