The Constellation Furyk and Friends golf tournament tees off Friday at Timuquana Country Club. Itโs the second year of the PGA Tour Champions event, hosted by Jim and Tabitha Furyk. This year, the field will include David Duval. The Episcopal graduate played in the pro-am in 2021, but this year, heโs in the field.

2 stopped in Jacksonville murder victimโs stolen car charged with theft, burglary
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. โ Two suspects taken into custody in Nassau County on Tuesday night were in a stolen car belonging to one of two people found dead Monday in a home on Jacks Road in Northwest Jacksonville, according to News4Jax sources. According to the Nassau County Sheriffโs Office, deputies assisted Jacksonville Sheriffโs Office investigators with a stop at the Circle K on U.S. 1 near Ratliff Road at about 10:30 p.m.Nassau deputies said there were three young people -- two males and one female -- inside the vehicle when it was stopped. JSO jail records show only two of the trio were charged with vehicle theft and burglary. Sources told News4Jax that the two -- whose names and ages have not been released -- are not suspected of the killings. AdNeighbors in that Biltmore neighborhood said Purvisโ car was taken from their house the morning after they were killed and that one of the people later detained in the stolen car was one of Deanโs grandchildren.
Wounded man walks mile for help after Arlington shooting
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. โ A man is recovering after he was shot early Wednesday morning on Jasper Avenue near the intersection of Arlington Place Road. A Jacksonville Sheriffโs Office spokesman said the man was shot about 2:30 a.m., then walked about a mile to a Mobil/Circle K gas station at Atlantic Boulevard and Bowland Street to get help. Employees called 911 and the man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. JSO said there was no suspect information provided by the man who was shot. Police investigate Circle K robbery in Green Cove Springs
GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. โ At approximately 6 p.m., multiple viewers tipped off News4Jax to a heavy police presence at a gas station in Green Cove Springs right across from Clay High School. The Clay County Sheriffโs Office confirmed deputies were investigating a robbery at the Circle K gas station on County Road 16A Saturday night. Officials have not released any suspect details. Yulee woman pays $5, scratches-off $500K lotto jackpot
NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. - A Yulee woman has claimed the grand prize from a Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket. According to a news release, Ashley Kelly, 34, of Yulee, purchased the winning ticket from Circle K on U.S. Highway 17. She paid just $5 to play the $500,000 Jackpot Multiplier. Man accused of pulling box cutter in St. Augustine road rage incident
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - St. Johns County deputies are looking for a man behind a frightening road rage incident. It happened Friday night at the Circle K gas station on US-1 North near the St. Augustines airport. It certainly couldve been bad, St. Johns County Sheriffs Office spokesman Chuck Mulligan told News4Jax. Security video obtained by News4Jax shows the confrontation and witnesses corroborated the victims story that the man pulled out a box cutter in a road rage tirade. Tom Verri, a former New York Police Department officer who now runs a branch of Signal 88 Security in St. Johns County patrols nearby.
Double shooting at Palm Coast convenience store leaves one dead
PALM COAST, Fla. - Two men were shot at a Circle K convenience store on Palm Coast Parkway, only one survived and deputies are searching for the suspect who pulled the trigger. The Sheriff's Office says Deon O' Neal Jenkins 26, was killed in the shooting. Word of the shooting came into the Flagler County Sheriff's Office at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday from one of the men shot. Flagler Sheriff Rick Staly released the following statement about the shooting: "At this time we do not believe that this was random attack. Hostages Fight Back After Suspect Barricades Himself Inside Convenience Store
Cameras caught a suspected killer getting a beatdown from the people he was holding hostage in Phoenix. But as the suspect wandered the store, a hero customer lunged at him and the other hostages joined in on the attack. Security expert Pat Brosnan spoke to Inside Edition about whether the hostages did the right thing by fighting back. They did everything right, it really is a textbook example where you really must bumrush the bad guy, he said. The suspect was later apprehended and faces murder, kidnapping and illegal possession of a weapon charges.
Police investigate armed robbery at Brunswick Circle K
BRUNSWICK, Ga. โ An armed robbery occurred late Thursday evening at a Circle K in Brunswick, Georgia, the Glynn County Police Department said. Officers responded about 11:30 p.m. to the convenience store on Community Road. Investigators learned that three people went into the store with a firearm, took an undisclosed amount of money and then left in a small, silver Nissan sedan.
