A teenage girl who was stabbed 15 times outside a Ponte Vedra Beach restaurant met the bystander who stepped in to help during the incident. The update comes, more than a month after the incident that left the teen, her mother, and that bystander hurt.

Spencer Pearson, 18, was booked into the St. Johns County jail after being released from the hospital. He's charged in the stabbing incident at Mr. Chubby's Wings on June 3.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office have identified a suspect in the deadly stabbing that happened near Value Pawn on Edgewood Avenue Sunday, June 4. After following up on evidence and interviewing witnesses, police identified the suspect as Steve Kent Ziegler, 62. A warrant has been issued for Ziegler for murder.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A person suspected in a double stabbing an elderly man and woman late Monday afternoon in Mandarin was found dead at the scene of a crash crash, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Police said they responded around 5:15 p.m. to Wordsworth Court, where two people were stabbed. Both were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Shortly after, the suspect was found dead in a vehicle that crashed into a large tree on Mandarin Road -- about a minute away from where the double stabbing happened. Police said the suspect was related to the couple and there are no outstanding suspects.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After a man with a stab wound was found outside of an apartment complex on Lexington Avenue in the Lakeshore neighborhood Saturday night, Jacksonville police said they detained a suspect. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was alerted to the stabbing about 10 p.m. by a 911 call. Officers found a middle-aged man suffering from a stab wound to his upper chest. Investigators believe the victim was involved in an altercation with another person in the courtyard of the apartment complex. During the dispute, according to police, the other individual approached and stabbed the victim.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 23-year-old woman was arrested Sunday following the early morning stabbing death of a man in the East Arlington area, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said. Police said Celaine Victoria Cuartero has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the unidentified man’s death. When they arrived, according to the Sheriff’s Office, police found a man suffering from a stab wound in a parking lot. MIDDLEBURG, Fla. – Clay County deputies responded to a report of a stabbing on Wren Lane Road in Middleburg on Friday evening. Neighbors claim that both a father and a son were involved in the incident, but no official confirmation has been given. So far, deputies have only confirmed that they arrived on the scene of a reported stabbing and that they will be leading a further investigation into this incident.
