5-year-old girl, 87-year-old great-grandmother located
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. โ A 5-year-old girl from St. Johns County who was at the center of a Florida Missing Child Alert and her 87-year-old great-grandmother were found Thursday evening, according to authorities. The St. Johns County Sheriffโs Office said Thursday night that the two were located and were with authorities near Savannah, Georgia. The Sheriffโs Office said the house was not disturbed and there was no sign of foul play. The Sheriffโs Office said the two were then spotted Thursday midafternoon in the area of Savannah before they were located. According to the St. Johns County Sheriffโs Office, they have family in Swainsboro, which is off Interstate 16.
FDLE cancels missing child alert after 9-month-old found safe
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. โ UPDATE: This is a cancellation to the Missing Child Alert that was issued on 08/03/2020 for Noah Sims. Investigators said Sims may be traveling with 36-year-old Corey Sims. A spokesperson for Jacksonville Sheriffโs Office said the 36-year-old is the babyโs father. According to police, Corey Sims left a residence with his son and is refusing to return with him. Noah Sims was last seen wearing a light blue polo short, coral, casual shorts, and white sneakers.
Missing Child Alert canceled after 2-year-old girl found safe
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. โ A 2-year-old girl at the center of a Missing Child Alert was found safe, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Saturday afternoon. The Jacksonville Sheriffโs Office first announced about 7:30 a.m. Saturday that it was looking for a 2-year-old girl, who may have been with a 31-year-old man. Late Friday evening, according to the Sheriffโs Office, police were originally called to an unrelated investigation on the Southside, where they discovered the girl was missing. The FDLE said after 2:15 p.m. Saturday that the child was safe, and the Missing Child Alert was canceled. The Florida Missing Child Alert for 2-year-old My'ionnah Freeman out of Jacksonville has been resolved.
Jacksonville police: Missing 11-year-old boy found safe
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. โ Jacksonville police announced early Tuesday morning that a missing 11-year-old boy was found safe. The Missing Child Alert was first issued about 9:10 a.m. Sunday by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. On Monday, people in the complex, where Keavonโs photo on missing posters are posted, were hopeful heโll be found safe. โSometimes 11-year-olds want to do what they want to do, but this is something to take very seriously because thereโs a child missing,โ a neighbor in the apartment complex said Monday. The FDLE canceled the Missing Child Alert about 4 a.m. Tuesday.
