Hey yโ€™all happy Sunday!!NOW: Thick clouds this morning has kept morning temperatures a but more mild than forecast, therefore frost advisories have been cancelled across NE Florida but continue in SE GA. Temperatures this morning only dropped into the low 40s region wide with some upper 30s across SE ga with mostly cloudy skies. TODAY: Clouds will slowly clear today leading to sunny skies and afternoon highs will reach the upper 50s to low 60s. Winds from the north between 5-10 MPH. MONDAY: As the skies clear tomorrow morning temperatures will drop into the upper 30s to low 40s. Scattered showers will move into the area Monday morning then more widespread showers and thunderstorms will spread across the area in the evening into Tuesday. Severe weather is not expected at this time with these storms. Afternoon highs will warm back up near normal in the low to mid 60s under mostly cloudy skies. REST OF THE WEEK: After Tuesday arctic air moves into the area where overnight lows into Wednesday will drop into the upper 20s to low 30s region wide. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 40s to 50s. Rain chances once again Thursday night into Friday,

Today stays dry but as clouds filter in this evening rain will develop Saturday with a cool and breezy couple days. Tonight, elevated northeast winds at the coast around 10-15 keep temps from falling below the upper 50s while inland lows will be in the upper 40sยฐ. The bulk of the rain impacts only Northeastern Florida staying south of Georgia. Best timing will be in the mid day/afternoon but some spotty showers may briefly be possible during the morning. A tornado watch until 10 pm has been issued for NE Florida and SE Georgia for the potential for severe strorms capable of triggering tornadoes. Latest radar loop shows isolated storms increasing across portion of northern Florida, with the most severe being across Putnam County exhibiting updraft rotation. It is expected for severe storms to lift northward through the late afternoon and early evening. One regime should emanate northeast across north Florida with a primary risk for a couple tornadoes and locally damaging winds. The second regime should spread east-northeast from southeast Alabama and the Florida Panhandle with a few tornadoes and damaging winds as the primary hazards.

Were off to a mild start in the upper 60s low 70s with some scattered showers moving on shore and staying east of the I-95 corridor. Our chance for scattered storms will increase later this morning into the afternoon. Ahead of the rain the National Weather Service has issued at Flash Flood Watch starting at 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. tonight. Sunday will bring another below average day in the 80s with a 50% chance for scattered showers. Rain sticks around Monday before we start to dry out on Tuesday through the rest of the week.
