As the number of people getting vaccinated against COVID-19 declines, it appears some parents are also hesitant to get their children vaccinated if it’s authorized.

The federally-supported COVID-19 vaccination site at Gateway Mall will stop giving first doses of the Pfizer vaccine to those 16 and up after Tuesday.

This weekend, just 69 people received the J&J shot out of the 3,000 available doses.

Fried said that 40% of Black families and 39% of Hispanic families in Florida are experiencing chronic hunger.

The latest Florida Department of Health statistics show that statewide, 4,252,250 people have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Family caregivers may assist with daily activities, personal care, or medical needs. Family caregivers qualify as health care workers with direct patient contact in Florida.
